![]() ![]() Grab the light pouch in the cabinet by the door to the next room as you deal with the guard inside here - who patrols from side to side. As you head down, you can check under the stairs for a newspaper - but be on alert for another guard in the next room. The next room over has the stairs, as well as some coins hiding in some of the cabinets. You never know who might eventually patrol through a room. Remember that bodies are cause for alarm if they are found - and are best stashed out of sight. Over by the balconies looking down on a lower floor, the lone guard should be easy pickings - you can assassinate him, knock him out, or just pick the Royal Quarters Key from his pocket and leave him be. Down the hall is the stairs the guards are stationed by, as well as a bathroom - which has a few coins and bathing salts to grab, and an audiograph to listen to. Check the nearby cabinets for some pouches of coins and leave the chambers. The safe room is in the corner of the room you are in, but without the key, it’s useless. Take the sword, and also note from someone named Meagan Foster - who waits with a ship by the docks. She’ll plead with you to escape the tower, and mention a way through Emily’s safe chamber - the key for which lies in Mortimer Ramsey’s hands. Inside, speak to Captain Alexi who has your sword lying nearby. To escape, look to the windows and open one to climb out onto the narrow balcony, and move to the next open window leading to a room full of slain guards - and one that yet breathes. There’s not much else you can do in the room, save for eating some food in the corner, or checking notes on the main table and side table. You can check the locked door to peek through the keyhole for some guard banter - and note the two stationed outside. Once you finally gain control of your character, you’ll be in the Royal Quarters, weaponless, powerless, and in need of an escape plan. Whoever you don’t pick will be out of the running for the rest of the game - so to speak. Following the opening cutscene, you’ll be able to choose which character to play as - which will change a few important details like story beats and more importantly the Powers and Enhancements you’ll soon have access to. ![]()
